Fantasy Football: Week Two’s Biggest Fantasy Surprises

Week two has come and gone and if you played your cards right and listened to last week’s waiver suggestions, you might still have hope of salvaging that dumpster fire you call a fantasy team.  So let us sit back and examine what decisions you should have made in week two.

Carson Wentz threw for 333 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception in week two against the Kansas City Chiefs.  He also rushed 4 times for 55 yards.  This was especially impressive, because he was going up against what is widely regarded as one of the better defenses in the NFL.   If you started him, you did so against all rational advice.  Congratulations, you are a wildcard.

Started Carson Wentz

J.J. Nelson had the 4th best week for a wide receiver this week and Jeff Krisko told you to start him.  If you listened to him, you got to enjoy all of that sweet, sweet 5 reception for 120 yards and 1 touchdown action.  If you didn’t listen to him, why aren’t you listening to him?

Chris Thompson made the most of Rob Kelley’s rib injury, rushing 3 times for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns.  He also had an additional 3 catches for 29 yards.  Do you remember last week when I told you that you should add Chris Thompson to your team, then when you didn’t listen and lost this week?  It’s ok, but as long as you start listening to me now, I can promise you good things will happen.  First, you will need to go to your bank and withdraw all your money…..
