This year, for start-or-sit advice, I’ve decided to share my wife’s fantasy football “insight” with the world. We will be looking at some sticky fantasy football start or sit decisions each week, and each of us will tell you whether or not you should rock ’em or sock ’em. I will use mostly statistical analysis, with just a touch of gut feeling. Erin will use whatever thing she uses to tell you how each player’s name speaks to her.

Week 10 Start or Sit Picks

Start or Sit Jimmy Garoppolo vs. Seattle Seahawks Week 10

Bryan’s Take: Jimmy Garoppolwhoa, had a career day against the Cardinals, setting season highs in completions and yards, and a career-high with four TDs. Yes, the Cardinals have made many a QB look good this year, but Jimmy was GOOD.  Speaking of making QBs look good, have you seen the Seattle Seahawks? I mean, they couldn’t even pick off Jameis Winston! I can’t say he’s going to throw four TDs again, but he should keep it rolling against the league’s second-worst pass defense. It’s not a bad idea to Start Jimmy Garoppolo week 10.  

Erin’s Take: With a name like that, he’s definitely got a future in broadcasting, and he better have a good Tinder profile. Jimmy Garoppolo’s mom probably makes him Campbell’s soup. Sit Jimmy Garoppolo week 10.

Start or Sit Kirk Cousins at Dallas Cowboys Week 10

Bryan’s Take: Kirk Cousins has been on fire ever since people started questioning if he had ever held a football before. In the past five weeks, his only down game has been against, puzzlingly enough, Washington. Weirdly, this was a damn good real-life performance, but we live in fantasyland, so it was bad. He may be in store for another downer this week, facing the Cowboys and their fifth best passing defense. You like that?! I don’t like that! Sit Kirk Cousins week 10.

Erin’s Take:  To me, Kirk Cousins sounds like a guy that has no delineation between his neck and his head. That said, he’s probably good at football. That, and I’m a fan of alliteration. Start Kirk Cousins week 10.

Start or Sit Dak Prescott vs. Minnesota Vikings Week 10

Bryan’s Take: It took a while to get going, but once he found his groove, the Dak Attack was in full effect Monday night, connecting on touchdown throws to Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and Blake Jarwin. Admittedly, Jarwin’s TD was basically all Jarwin, but it still counts! Unlike the aforementioned ‘Boys passing defense, the Vikings can be thrown on. They’ve given up  15 passing TDs on the season, which ties them for 6th worst in the league. If you’re lucky enough to own him, you are going to Start Dak Prescott week 10.

Erin’s Take: “Dak Prescott” is the name of a pretentious cartoon character, like an associate of Scrooge McDuck’s. However, I also think he’s a tough guy that can get things done. Start Dak Prescott week 10.
