As we gear up to the start of the NFL season, Football Absurdity is going to bring you a comprehensive breakdown of every notable player that will be available in fantasy football drafts. We only look at the past three seasons for a player. This is because anyone who is looking at data from 2016 to figure out what to do in 2020 had better be Prince and be receiving a second chance on Earth to figure out where it all went wrong. Kenny Golladay was a top 12 WR in 2019 despite shaky QB play… now that Matt Stafford’s back is back, is the sky the ceiling?
Kenny Golladay ADP and AAV:

Kenny Golladay Statistics:
Kenny Golladay Overview:
Kenny Golladay, I can’t begin to show you my appreciation for all you’ve done for me. When Matt Stafford went down last year and things looked their bleakest, you carried my fantasy team. Your 11 touchdowns were first among all wide receivers and in my heart. Even your 2018 second-year sleeper top-twenty breakout season showed me you truly cared. So I was wondering if-
Kenny Golladay Draft Strategy:
No, stop! Get those stats out of here! They’re like a waiter at a romantic restaurant who comes over to refill the water right when a guy is giving a romantic speech.
Where was I? Let me see: I talked about Golladay’s top-twelve 2019 season, talked about his 11 touchdowns, mentioned his solid performance in 2018… ah, yes, I remember!
Kenny Golladay, will you marry me?
Seriously, the dude was WR #5 last year when the scabs throwing him the ball could barely get it there more than half the time. Now he’s got his regular quarterback, a decent fantasy points maker in his own right, how is this not a match made in Heaven?
People are going to look at my $51 auction value ($200 budget) and think I’m crazy, but it’s worth two month’s salary to get a guy who could easily be commanding the top price among WRs in 2021. The great news is: No one in any auction league is going to bid you all the way up to $51, so you’ll be getting a discount no matter what.
Best Case Scenario:
A top-two fantasy finish that wins leagues and swoons owners everywhere.
Worst Case Scenario:
I don’t know what you want me to say: Stafford gets injured again and Golladay yet again becomes a… middle WR1? The real worst-case scenario is that I quit fantasy football in 2021 because I can’t stand throwing him back into the player pool in the offseason for redraft leagues.
