Fantasy Football Le’Veon Bell: 2018 Player Profile

Fantasy Football Le'Veon Bell

If you think running backs need to get paid what they are worth, then this fantasy football Le’Veon Bell player profile is for you. As we gear up to the start of the NFL season, Football Absurdity is going to bring you a comprehensive breakdown of every notable player that will be available in fantasy football drafts.  When you don’t see us talking about Christine Michael or Mike Davis, don’t get mad at us for neglecting your favorite sleeper.  Get mad at yourself for having bad taste in football players.  We are only focusing on the top-rated running backs in standard scoring and points per game leagues.

With my player profiles, I’ve only decided to go back to look at their fantasy scoring for three years.  I could show you lists from earlier, but most of the guys at the top are no longer in the league anymore.  I’ve also added a chart for their usage over that time span.  We will try to determine, based on those two factors, where the best running back value lies.

Overview: Le’Veon Bell is one of my favorite running backs.  He is just fun to watch.  He is electric.  I find it difficult to write why you should draft him because anyone who watches football should already know this.  Honestly, if you were on the fence about whether Le’Veon Bell was worthy of a top-five pick in fantasy football, I don’t think I could write enough articles to help you.  Bell has already established himself as one of the best running backs in football. Bell is in the prime of his career.  Bell is in a contract year, playing for potential millions.  Basically, Bell should be on your team.

Strategy: Le’Veon Bell is my number two overall fantasy player this year.  Basically, my strategy is to jump up and down really excitedly if I get the opportunity to draft him and have Evan Hoovler come up with a clever name for my team.  I love drafting players who are in a contract year and you never see guys as talented as Bell reach this point because teams usually want to lock up their studs early.

Ceiling: Le’Veon Bell ceiling is the top of fantasy football rankings.  Bell is going to end the year as the number one fantasy running back and boy is going to get paid.

Floor:  What will actually happen is Bell will regret not signing the extension Pittsburgh offered him and halfway through the season he will blow out his knee and piss hot for a drug test all in the same week.  He will miss the rest of the season and never be the same.  And you will never be the same either.  You will never trust again.
