As we look at the waiver wire options for week six, we are finding the waiver wire at quarterback desperately thin. Unless you want to trust your team to Jay Cutler or Blake Bortles, it’s time to make a move. So let us examine what our best waiver wire quarterback options for week six are, while we still have the chance.
Jared Goff — Owned in 44% of leagues — I’ve been on the Jared Goff bandwagon for a couple weeks now. I’m sure some people are going to be hesitant after his 0 touchdowns, 3 turnover performance against the Seattle Seahawks. But every quarterback looks bad against Seattle. Goff is still a strong long-term solution for your fantasy team at quarterback.
Tyrod Taylor — Owned in 46% of leagues — The Buffalo Bills have been very up and down on offense this season. So has Tyrod Taylor. When he looks good, he looks real good. But when he looks bad, it can get ugly quickly. At this point, I’m not sure he’s worth burning your waiver priority on.
Mitchell Trubisky — Owned in 9% of leagues — I’m giving Mitchell “I Like Titties” Trubisky an honorable mention here, because he looks to be a talented quarterback, despite the loss to the Vikings on Monday Night Football. He’s young. He’s athletic. But he is also a Chicago Bears quarterback. So go ahead and look at him on the waiver wire. But don’t touch. Not until he proves he’s not a typical Bears quarterback.
