Daily Fantasy Football FanDuel Value Plays: Week 7

dumpster dive daily fantasy football running back sleepers

It sure is fun to have a fantasy football team in 2020! Loads of laughs! COVID-19 rescheduling! Every good player getting hurt! Other good players getting coronavirus! Just a real bundle of laughs. That’s why you should try week-to-week daily fantasy football at FanDuel. If you have stars in your eyes because you have stars in your lineups, these daily fantasy football value plays can help you fill out your rosters at FanDuel.

Week 7 FanDuel Value Play Quarterback ($7k or less):
Teddy Bridgewater at New Orleans ($6,800)

Bridgewater had two-straight games of at least 20 fantasy points in weeks four and five before running up against the Chicago Bears Buzzsaw in week six. He sort of fell apart last week in a terrible matchup, throwing for just 216 yards, zero scores, and two picks on 29 pass attempts. He averages about 35 pass attempts per game, which is more the figure I would expect in a matchup where he’ll have to throw a lot. The matchup is also juicy, as every QB had at least three touchdowns against the Saints. They limit yardage, but touchdowns come fast and furious. And just like Vince in The Fast & The Furious, I’m just letting you know about a great deal. This deal, however, does not come with fries (or slurs).

Additional Options: Baker Mayfield @CIN ($7,000), Kyle Allen v DAL ($6,700)
Week 7 FanDuel Value Play Running Back ($5k or less):
Jamaal Williams at Houston ($5,000)

We’re just one game removed from Jamaal Williams going over 100 yards in a good matchup, and four weeks removed from him going 8 carries for 63 yards. Jamaal Williams is inconsistent but tends to boom in good games for the Packers. Last week was just… extremely weird once Aaron Rodgers threw two picks (which as in and of itself, very weird). Jamaal Williams should get around 10 touches this week and could turn that into some production that helps from cratering you in a 50/50 as a punt play.

Additional Options: Duke Johnson Jr v GB ($4,700), JaMycal Hasty @NE ($4,600)
Week 7 FanDuel Value Play Wide Receiver ($5k or less):
Gabriel Davis at N.Y. Jets ($4,800)

This would be Cole Beasley ($5,100), who is a much better deal but outside the confines of this exercise I’m throwing out the wet game against the Chiefs last week, except for one thing: Smoky Brown is still hurt. He played 96% of snaps but was gimpy from the get-go. Brown also caught zero of his four targets. Gabriel Davis filled in for Brown in week five when Brown was on the shelf. He had nine targets, which he turned into five catches for 58 yards. He plays the New York Jets this week. The 2020 New York Jets might be the worst football team of all time, and you should use guys playing against them.

Additional Options: Breshad Perriman v BUF ($4,800), Andy Isabella v SEA ($4,800)
Week 7 FanDuel Value Play Tight End ($5k or less):
Logan Thomas versus Dallas ($5k)

Logan Thomas popped up on the injury report Wednesday with a neck issue, so that’s something to monitor for him. We are going to keep jamming Thomas into the sleepers pieces until he finally comes through. He gets a ton of volume, ranking fifth in both targets and air yards at tight end. He’s just done very little with it due to the poor quality of target he receives from the Washington Team Football quarterbacks. He gets a good matchup this week with the Dallas Cowboys, who have let four different tight ends hit paydirt against them in the last four weeks. Thomas should get at least six targets this week, and against the Cowboys, the worst line with that target volume was Greg Olsen’s 5 catches, 61 yards. Just watch that injury report.

Additional Options: Drew Sample v CLE ($4,700), Anthony Firkser v PIT ($5,000)
