If he comes back to 2016 form, you are getting a top ten fantasy quarterback at a discounted rate. I have concerns, but not enough to outweigh the discount I am getting him at.
Fantasy Football Derek Carr Strategy: If we treat his 2017 season as an anomaly, which I do, then Derek Carr has tremendous value. I have him there with my 9th and 10th round quarterback values and I feel pretty good about my team if I pick him up. But not good enough that I wouldn’t hedge my bets with a second quarterback.
