Week 14 FAAB is here! Don’t forget to check how much FAAB your playoff opponents have, and see if you can leave yourself juuuust a little more than they have. I can’t do anything with Week 14 FAAB, because I spend it all week 1 making horrible picks (like 51% for Corey Davis).
Week 14 FAAB
Quarterbacks | ||
Name | $ (%) | Note |
Jameis Winston | 0 | Plays Detroit, Atlanta, and Carolina in next three weeks. Only useful as an emergency one-week fill |
Josh McCown | 0 | Faces Denver, NO, and the Chargers. Only good as an emergency fill if Winston makes you heave |
Blake Bortles | 5 | I’m telling you now, Bortles is going to be great weeks 15 and 16 (Hou, SF). Don’t confuse real life skill with fantasy prowess |
Aaron Rodgers | 100 | Take this guy now. It’s looking quite likely the Packers will still be in the playoff hunt when he is eligible to return |
Running Backs | ||
Mike Davis | 1 | If you want to feel the hope a lottery ticket provides, then $1 will buy you that hope. But don’t be surprised if this guy goes the way of Lacy, Rawls, McKissic, and probably some more losers I forgot about |
Andre Ellington | 1 | Has a sweet matchup against the 49ers this week, if you are desperate |
Theo Riddick | 90 | Abdullah is breaking down, opening up roo for this speedy PPR back |
Matt Forte | 80 | He’s still available? Book him. On a committee and has a not-easy schedule, but hey: He gets carries |
Wide Receivers | ||
Josh Doctson | 26 | Production in each of last 3 games |
Mike Wallace | 81 | Wallace is my prediction for FA playoffs MVP. Baltimore is no longer unbelievably horrendous on offense, and Flacco has been leaning on him |
Jermain Kearse | 76 | Huge production in last two games, and has been showing growth in skills as the season progresses |
Dede Westbrook | 1 | 25 targets in last 3 games |
Tight Ends | ||
David Njoku | 1 | Been coming on lately, but only grab him if you have absolutely nothing better |
Julius Thomas | 26 | Probably the best tight end in your FA, his floor has been great (5 pts HPPR) the past 5 weeks |
Cameron Brate | 86 | Winston is back, and Winston thinks Brate is great |
