2026 Post-Week 8 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Cut List: Roster Ravens, Nevermore

Mark Andrews Baltimore Ravens

Things went extremely poorly in week eight for so many folks. However, we have to dust ourselves off and make room on our fantasy rosters for our week nine push toward the playoffs. Below, we have players rostered in at least 50% of Yahoo! leagues who you can drop to make room for the guys who just might save your fantasy football season. Some of these might be tough, and they are not all guaranteed cuts, just recommendations.

QUARTERBACKS

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore (100% rostered)

Lamar Jackson is one of the premier quarterbacks in all of fantasy football, but the Ravens’ pass catcher suffered a thumb injury that will require surgery and cost him at least the next four weeks, and possibly the season. With the Ravens on bye in week thirteen, that means the next time you will use Lamar is week 14.

Jacoby Brissett, Arizona (50% rostered)

The Cardinals benched Brissett for Gardner Minshew and promptly came back and beat the Cowboys. His run is over as the starting quarterback in Arizona.

RUNNING BACKS

Omarion Hampton, L.A. Chargers (94% rostered)

Nothing is changing in Los Angeles, and that nothing includes Omarion Hampton circling the drain. His 4.7 PPR points ranked third on the Chargers this week, among running backs. He has 8.5 or fewer PPR points in five of seven games this season. You don’t need him on eight-team rosters, or even shallower ten-team rosters.

J.K. Dobbins, Denver (80% rostered) & RJ Harvey, Denver (70% rostered)

Jonah Coleman put Dobbins in the shadow realm, as Dobbins finished the week eight victory against the Chiefs with just seven carries for 13 yards. This marks the second time in two games that he’s finished with single-digit touches. Coleman had 15 touches for 114 yards and a touchdown. Coleman showed he is the best back on the Broncos on Sunday, and when Harvey returns from IR, it’s unlikely that he finds enough touches to matter for fantasy football.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Washington (58% rostered)

“Bill” wasn’t a world beater before he went on IR (two double-digit PPR games), so if you are in a roster crunch, you can move on from him.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Davante Adams, L.A. Rams (84% rostered)

The optimistic scenario has Davante Adams returning in week fourteen. If you don’t have an IR spot and are in a roster crunch, then he is a cut candidate for you.

Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay (74% rostered)

Godwin currently has zero games over 9.1 PPR points on the season. It’s November.

Xavier Worthy, Kansas City (70% rostered)

Worthy has either sub-5 PPR points or about 14 PPR points. So, he’s nothing but a boom-bust WR4. If you’re in a 2WR league, or you’re through the hardest parts of your byes, then you have no need for Xavier Worthy.

Courtland Sutton, Denver (55% rostered)

Sutton, like Godwin, has zero games of 10+ PPR points. It’s still November. It’s time to move on.

TIGHT ENDS

Mark Andrews, Baltimore (66% rostered)

Mark Andrews was not startable with Lamar Jackson; now it’s “Joe Fagnano” for the foreseeable future. He has 11 targets, seven catches, and 41 yards across the last three weeks.

Juwan Johnson, New Orleans (58% rostered)

Don’t let the bye week distract you from the fact that Juwan Johnson has 7.3 PPR points on ten targets over the last three weeks combined
