Week six of the 2026 NFL season is done, and you are looking in the mirror wondering how it all went so wrong. You thought the Rams could not lose, and you were wrong. You thought the Titans could not win, and you were wrong. You thought you could win at fantasy football, but you don’t have to be wrong. Before you give up on your fantasy season, remember that the waiver wire exists to save you from the cruel and unforgiving fantasy football gods. I’m going to provide you with the best options available. If I don’t mention someone whom you think I should be talking about, just know there are many reasons why I overlooked them. Maybe they are owned in most leagues. Maybe they are so bad I don’t even consider them. Maybe it’s because your opinions cannot be trusted. After all, you are here. So let us examine who our best week seven waiver wire players for your championship run are…
Week Seven Waiver Wire QBs
Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers (28% rostered)
We are playing fantasy football like it’s 2014! Aaron Rodgers has been a QB1 the last three weeks, and it could be four weeks if he can just outscore one of Jayden Daniels or Brock Purdy tonight. Will he? Probably not, but the greater point is that Rodgers is fantasy relevant. The Steelers rank 5th in PROE and only have 3 negative matchups for fantasy the rest of the season. If you need quarterback help, Aaron Rodgers is probably your best bet. (I hate saying this)
Week Seven Waiver Wire RBs
Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks (60% rostered)
The moment Zach Charbonnet is cleared to start, he will be an RB2 or flex play on your team. Charbonnet is better than any of the Hail Mary plays you will find on the waiver wire. Grab him if he is available.
Tyrone Tracy, New York Giants (5% rostered)
With Cam Skattebo benched, Tyrone Tracy was the fantasy darling of the week with 45 all-purpose yards and 2 TDs. The problem is that 30% of the rushing attempts went to Tracy, while another 40% went to Najee Harris and Devin Singletary equally. So the Giants backfield was a three-headed monster, and Tracy was lucky enough to fall in the end zone twice.
Dameon Pierce, Philadelphia Eagles (2% rostered)
In week six, Dameon Pierce had 50 all-purpose yards and 1 TD. The case for Dameon Pierce is the same as I outlined last week – he is all Nick Sirianni has left. All the Eagles running backs are hurt, so we know he is going to get carries. Will he do anything with them? He did in week 6! Will he do that again? If you think Dameon Pierce is capable of two top-24 performances in a row, I’m not sure even this article can help you. But beggars can’t be choosers, and sometimes you need to hold your nose and start a running back who will get 10+ touches.
Week Seven Waiver Wire WRs
Germie Bernard, Pittsburgh Steelers (36% rostered)
Last week, Germie Bernard was my number one waiver wire add. In Week 6, Germie had 11 catches for 87 yards, including a game-winning overtime touchdown. The second-round rookie ran the second-most routes, second-most targets, and the highest yards per route run. Most important of all, Aaron Rodgers trusts Bernard. Germie Bernard has the potential to be a league-winner going forward, and I am all in on this pick-up.
Demario “Pop” Douglas, New England Patriots (8% rostered)
I want Pop Douglas almost as much as I want Germie Bernard. Last week, Douglas was WR7 on the week. In week six, Pop is WR10 going into the Monday Night Football game with 7 catches for 86 yards and 1 touchdown. Over the last two weeks, Douglas leads the team in routes run, targets, and yards per route run. A lot of sharps were high on Douglas going into this season, and his next four games are incredibly soft matchups.
Omar Cooper Jr., New York Jets (14% rostered)
In week 6, Omar Cooper Jr. had 6 catches for 103 yards and 1 touchdown. Any time a rookie who was drafted in the first round has a big game, I am inclined to just grab them. Cooper was 2nd in route run, first in targets per route run, and first in yards per route run.
Week Seven Waiver Wire TEs
Kenyon Sadiq, New York Jets (36% rostered)
The honest answer is that there is not a tight end worth grabbing on the waiver wire this week, but if you are desperate for a guy to start, just grab Sadiq. The Jets are playing a Dolphins team that is giving up the 5th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
