2024 Fantasy Football Week 15 Streaming Defenses: The Bengals & the Playoffs, What Could Go Wrong?

If you read my article on playing the waiver wire game, you know it is essential to winning your fantasy football league.  If you haven’t read it, what are you waiting for?  I just told you it’s necessary to win your fantasy football league!  Why do you hate winning?

One of the best ways to maximize your weekly scoring is to stream defenses.  This strategy is simple – we aren’t as concerned about good defenses, so much as finding defenses that are playing terrible offenses.  Bad offenses are more likely to keep playing badly because if they knew how to be good, they would already be good.  Because of this flawless logic, I will be pointing out the best streaming options every week.

Cincinnati Bengals DEF (29% owned) @ Tennessee Titans

The Cincinnati Bengals are the best streaming option for the week. More importantly, they are one of the best streaming options for next week.  The Titans and Browns are exactly the type of defense I want at the start of the fantasy playoffs.  The Titans are giving up the most fantasy points to opposing defenses. They have the 2nd most turnovers, the 3rd most sacks, and the 3rd fewest points scored on offense. Over the last four weeks, the Titans have allowed 17 sacks and committed 7 turnovers. When we move on to the next week, the Browns are giving up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing defenses. They have the 4th most turnovers (thank you Jameis), the 2nd most sacks, and the 4th fewest points scored. If you stream defenses, the Bengals have to be a priority addition.

Arizona Cardinals DEF (32% owned) @ New England Patriots

If you can’t get the Bengals, the Cardinals are a solid consolation prize. The New England Patriots are giving up the 5th most fantasy points to opposing defenses. The Patriots have allowed the 5th most sacks and scored the 2nd fewest points. Over the last four weeks, the Patriots have allowed 6 turnovers and 12 sacks to opposing defenses. Most importantly, the Cardinals need this game to have any remaining shot of making the playoffs.

Green Bay Packers DEF (34% owned) @ Seattle Seahawks DEF

This is my long-shot play for streaming a defense. If you are looking for a ceiling play on defense.  The Packers defense is legitimately good and the Seahawks are coming off an emotional win against the Cardinals. The Seahawks have also been incredibly inconsistent all year. They are giving up the 6th most fantasy points to opposing defenses, whereas the Green Bay Packers are the DST8 on the season. The Packers have the 4th most turnovers, while the Seahawks have the 8th most turnovers on offense. Over the last four weeks, the Seahawks have allowed 12 sacks and turned the
