2023 Week 6 Fantasy Football Starts & Sits: Deebo Samuel, Kyle Pitts, Geno Smith & More!

Logan Thomas Tight End Washington Football Team Start or Sit Sleeper Tight Ends Waiver Wire

Fantasy Twitter needs to calm down about Jahmyr Gibbs. Everyone is losing their minds and we all need to take a step back and realize we play this game for fun.

Unless you don’t, in which case I probably have you blocked already.

QB START OF THE WEEK: Joshua Dobbs, ARI @ LAR (ECR: 20, my rank: 12)

Dobbs is coming off of a season-worst performance, but don’t let that deter you. He has a good matchup against the Rams and he should run enough to provide a solid floor.

QB SIT OF THE WEEK: Geno Smith, SEA @ CIN (ECR: 12, my rank: 17)

The Bengals haven’t been good so far this season and still aren’t a great matchup for opposing quarterbacks. I expect Cincinnati’s defense to continue to improve as the season progresses as well. Even more concerning is the fact that Geno has only thrown for multiple touchdowns once this season. His ceiling is simply not as high as it was last season.

RB START OF THE WEEK: D’Onta Foreman, CHI vs. MIN (ECR: 28, my rank: 20)

Khalil Herbert will miss multiple weeks and Roschon Johnson still hasn’t cleared concussion protocol. As of now, Foreman is the only show in town against a poor Minnesota defense. Scoop him up off waivers if he’s there and you need a spot start at RB.

OTHER RB STARTS:
Rhamondre Stevenson, NE @ LV (ECR: 25, my rank: 21)
RB SIT OF THE WEEK: Jerome Ford, CLE vs. SF (ECR: 23, my rank: 28)

P.J. Walker is starting for the Browns against possibly the best defense in the NFL. I don’t want anything to do with Cleveland’s skill players this Sunday.

OTHER RB SITS:
Brian Robinson, WAS @ ATL (ECR: 16, my rank: 26)
Rachaad White, TB vs. DET (ECR: 24, my rank: 31)
WR START OF THE WEEK: Jakobi Meyers, LV vs. NE (ECR: 32, my rank: 17)

Meyers is a target machine and has produced well in every game he’s played this season. He’s a must-start player until further notice. The expert consensus just hasn’t caught up yet.

OTHER WR STARTS:
Nico Collins, HOU vs. NO (ECR: 28, my rank: 21)
DeAndre Hopkins, TEN vs. BAL (ECR: 26, my rank: 16)
WR SIT OF THE WEEK: Brandon Aiyuk (ECR: 13, my rank: 25) and Deebo Samuel, SF @ CLE (ECR: 17, my rank: 34)

The Browns are allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs. I think this is a rare off-game for San Francisco’s offense. Side note: bet the under.

OTHER WR SITS:
DeVonta Smith, PHI @ NYJ (ECR: 21, my rank: 33)
TE START OF THE WEEK: Logan Thomas, WAS @ ATL (ECR: 13, my rank: 5)

Bold ranking of a player who isn’t particularly good, I know. But the matchup is good and Thomas is a focal point in the Washington offense because offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy loves involving the tight end. Despite his lack of explosiveness, the former quarterback should provide as safe a floor as any TE playing on Sunday.

OTHER TE STARTS:
Hunter Henry, NE @ LV (ECR: 14, my rank: 12)
TE SIT OF THE WEEK: Kyle Pitts, ATL vs. WAS (ECR: 11, my rank: 15)

You won’t. You’re not brave enough. Go on, do it. Bench Kyle Pitts for Logan Thomas. You won’t regret it!

OTHER TE SITS:
Jake Ferguson, DAL @ LAC (ECR: 10, my rank: 13)
