Jayden Reed 2023 Draft Prospect Fantasy Football Breakdown

Jayden Reed, Michigan State (6’0”, 185)

What Scouts Say:

Plays all over the field, out wide, slot, and backfield. Run after catch guy, will beat people with yards after the grab. Does not have elite speed, and a smaller catch radius than optimal. Has special teams upside, and crushed the Senior Bowl.

What We Saw:
Tony:

Jayden Reed is a dude that I want some shares of because he plays with that dawg mentality that makes a player so fun to root for. He plays bigger than his size, plays faster than his speed, and is an impact punt returner to boot. He doesn’t have an incredible catch radius and will get tackled from behind, but he loves to break tackles. I mean he literally loves it. He welcomes contact and uses leverage well, and wants to run deep as often as possible. I think his draft cap is less relevant than others because he is going to have such a low floor due to potential size limitations, but he’s a guy I want shares of because given enough time, players with Reed’s energy and skillset eventually rise to the top.

Shane:

Shane refuses to watch Michigan State players. They know what they did.
