Week Ten WR Sleepers – Pascal’s Triangle

Wide receiver has not been a fun position for me this season. Outside of Mike Evans, a lot of guys I was relying on to start the year suck now, are hurt now or were never really good options, and I was deluding myself Marquez Valdes-Scantling. That means that I feel your pain with these wide receiver sleepers this week. I am in the thick of it. In the suck, in the mud. Trying, grasping, clawing at waiver wire wide receiver sleepers. To qualify as one of our wide receiver sleepers, you have to have ownership in, at most, 50% of Yahoo! leagues. For people in deeper leagues, we recommend a fantasy football wide receiver sleeper available in at least 90% of Yahoo! leagues. As always, check to see if the recommended wide receivers in Waleed’s Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet slipped through the cracks. If they didn’t, then read on!

Week Ten Wide Receiver Sleeper:
DeVante Parker at Indianapolis (49% Owned)

Parker squeaks in right under the wire, and much like Ryan Fitzpatrick in the quarterback sleepers column, it’s probably because of the whole… 2019 Miami Dolphins… thing. It’s hard to trust a Dolphin, especially if you cemented your opinions of them in week three or four. Parker’s gone through the roof in the last three games alongside the Fiztpatrickenaissance. He has 24 targets in those games, which he’s turned into an average of five catches for 57 yards, and he’s scored in two-of-three games. This week, he gets a Colts squad that played stout defense against two of the worst quarterbacks in the league (Joe Flacco and Mason Rudolph), but before that, they’d been torched by numerous wide receivers. Parker is going to be the latest WR to crush the Colts this week.

Week Ten Wide Receiver Sleeper:
Zach Pascal versus Miami (43% Owned)

Pascal has turned in very good performances in two out of his last three games and should be developing into a reliable fantasy football option for you. Unfortunately, in between his 6/106/2 game and his 5/76/1 game sits a game where he turned in a one catch, six-yard complete dud stinker. That explains why he’s still sitting out there in more than half of waiver wires, despite becoming the #1 wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts for the foreseeable future. He has three games this season with at least four passes, and he averages 85 yards and a touchdown in those contests. Given that T.Y. Hilton is likely out for the next three weeks or so, Pascal should see at least four targets a week. This week, he gets an amazing matchup to peddle his wares. The Dolphins come to town, fresh off embarrassing Sam Darnold and the Jets.

Even when factoring in the Jets game, they’ve allowed five wide receivers to score at least 16.8 fantasy points in the three games since their bye. Do you mean trading Minkah Fitzpatrick has had a negative effect on the secondary? Huh. You don’t say? Pascal is going to feast this weekend against Miami.

Week Ten Wide Receiver Sleeper:
Ted Ginn Jr versus Atlanta (2% Owned)

It’s all there for Ted Ginn to have a monster game in week ten against the division-rival Falcons. He’s at home, on the fast track. Drew Brees is coming off the bye, which means another week for his hand to heal. The last time Ted Ginn had a fully healthy Drew Brees, he went off for over 100 yards. And he gets the Falcons. Oh, the Falcons. Atlanta allows the second-highest net yards gained per pass attempt in the league, and over 52% of Atlanta Falcons defensive drives end in points for the opposing team. Also, they allow four 20+ yard passes per game, which is the eighth-highest number in the league. Atlanta is terrible on defense, and really, really bad against opponents passing deep against them. Ted Ginn is almost universally available and has a chance to blow the doors off against the Falcons.
