Fantasy Football Week 13 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet

Week 13 Waiver Wire

Week 12 is almost behind us and with it your belief that you can properly evaluate fantasy players. Some of you thought owning Melvin Gordon meant you didn’t have to worry anymore. And you were wrong. Some of you thought Eric Ebron couldn’t sustain his red zone success. And you were wrong.  Some of you thought fantasy football could be fun. And oh boy were you wrong. If I don’t mention someone whom you think I should be talking about, just know there are many reasons why I overlooked them. Maybe they are owned in most leagues. Maybe they are so bad I don’t even consider them.  Maybe it’s because your opinions cannot be trusted. After all, you are here. So let us examine what our best week 13 waiver wire players are…

Week 13 Waiver Wire QBs

Should I Pick up Baker Mayfield? Owned in 49% of leagues – Since Hue Jackson has been fired, Baker Mayfield has the 2nd best quarterback rating in football. On top of that, he has a great playoff schedule. If you need quarterback help, Baker Mayfield is your best bet.

Should I Pick up Dak Prescott?Owned in 45% of leagues – Don’t look now, but the Cowboys are rolling and Dak Prescott is leading the way. If you can’t get Baker Mayfield, get Dak Prescott.

Should I Pick up Lamar Jackson?Owned in 46% of leagues – If the Ravens are smart, they will let Lamar Jackson start the rest of the season. He is a duel-threat quarterback with a ton of upside. If they announce this that Lamar Jackson will be the starter, and you can’t get Baker Mayfield or Dak Prescott, this is probably your best bet.

Week 13 Waiver Wire RBs

Should I Pick up LeGarrette Blount?Owned in 16% of leagues – Probably not. He’s touchdown dependent and once Kerryon Johnson comes back from his knee injury, Blount will go back to being fantasy irrelevant. As he should be.

Should I Pick up Doug Martin?Owned in 50% of leagues – For some reason, John Gruden likes Doug Martin. If you’ve ever owned Doug Martin in your fantasy leagues, you probably don’t feel the same way. However, if you need a running back, this is the best bet you got.

Week 13 Waiver Wire WRs

Should I Pick up Josh Reynolds?Owned in 43% of leagues – If you are looking for Cooper Kupp-light, you probably should own Josh Reynolds. He is probably the best available wide receiver on the waiver wire.

Should I Pick up Robert Foster?Owned in 0% of leagues – In his last two starts, he’s looked good. But if you actually want shares of Buffalo’s passing game, you probably aren’t competing in your fantasy football leagues anyway.

Week 13 Waiver Wire TEs

Should I pick up Gerald Everett?Owned in 8% of leagues. – He plays for the Rams. The Rams are good. Ergo, maybe he’ll be good?

Should I Pick up Chris Herndon?Owned in 9% of leagues – Chris Herndon is consistently getting targets in the Jets offense. It won’t be pretty, but if you are looking for tight end production, it never is.
