If you are interested in looking as good as your fantasy quarterback plays, then this fantasy football Cam Newton player profile is the makeover you’ve been waiting for. As we gear up to the start of the NFL season, Football Absurdity is going to bring you a comprehensive breakdown of every notable player that will be available in fantasy football drafts. When you don’t see us talking about Christine Michael or Mike Davis, don’t get mad at us for neglecting your favorite sleeper. Get mad at yourself for having bad taste in football players.
When looking at my player profiles, It is important to note that I think quarterback play is replaceable for low-end QB1’s. So when I evaluate quarterback prospects, I am looking for top three potential This will skew my perspective and analysis. Because I am gambling on upside, I tend to draft two quarterbacks and the quarterbacks I draft tend to be younger.

Fantasy Football Cam Newton Overview: Cam Newton is an interesting profile to study. It appears that every odd-numbered year, he is amazing. In the even number years, he is just average. However, if you are drafting Superman, you aren’t looking for average. There is a part of me that worries that he is going to rank in the middle for quarterbacks, which would be a concern. That split could mean when he does well, it takes another year for his body to recover. Or it could just be a coincidence. One thing that I really like is he finally has an offensive coordinator in Norv Turner who has had sustained success in the NFL.
Fantasy Football Cam Newton Strategy: Truth be told, Cam is not on my radar to draft. At his current ADP, he is going to be selected in a position where I could get Marvin Jones or Greg Olsen, both of whom have shown they can end the season in the top-five at their position. If he somehow fell to the 7th or 8th round, I would certainly consider grabbing him there. But I’d rather wait a couple of rounds and target Andrew Luck, who I think is seriously undervalued.
Ceiling: His ceiling, like his jersey number, is number one. There is no doubt that when he does well, he is amongst the elite.
Floor: The curse of the even number year proves to be Superman’s kryptonite, rendering Cam mediocre.
