The Buffalo Bills are one of the league’s best teams, but they jettisoned head coach Sean McDermott after once again not making it over the hump. With DJ Moore in town, are the Bills going to pass more? Let’s take a look at the 2026 Buffalo Bills’ fantasy football sleeper, undervalued, and overvalued players!
Sleeper: Skyler Bell, Wide Receiver (WR89, Pick 232 OVR)
This is a contingent sleeper because it requires a Skyler Bell or Khalil Shakir injury for Bell to emerge, but the fourth-round rookie reminds me a lot of Khalil Shakir, making him a redundancy at the position for the Bills, but that redundancy makes for built-in fantasy football value. The rookie wide receiver is extremely balanced and proficient at a lot of things, without having a carrying trait. He reminded me a lot of Diontae Johnson in the draft process, who is, in turn, on the Khalil Shakir spectrum. There’s not much of value behind Moore & Shakir at wide receiver, and Bell is the most likely candidate to step up if one of them vacates a spot in the pecking order.
Undervalued: Dalton Kincaid, Tight End (TE13, Pick 117 OVR)
There’s something to be said about Dalton Kincaid maybe finally being good, but somehow still getting stuck behind Dawson Knox too much. But what if, instead, they simply played their best tight end more? Kincaid is a rate metric demon, ranking first in targets per route run, deep target share, yards per target, yards per route run, first downs per route run, and fantasy points per route run. The problem? He doesn’t run any routes, ranking 47th with just under sixteen routes run per game, thanks to his 38% snap share. All the Bills have to do is simply use him more, and he has top-five upside at tight end.
Overvalued: Josh Allen, Quarterback (QB1, Pick 28 OVR)
Josh Allen’s 0.8 points per game above QB2 in 2025 was the lowest QB1 to QB2 gap since 2022, when QB1 and QB2 tied atop the ranks. Yet, for some reason, Josh Allen is going 19 picks above QB2, Lamar Jackson, and 29 picks ahead of QB3, Drake Maye. This is likely because Allen is the only elite quarterback without any questions (L-Jax’s new offense, can Drake Maye repeat, Joe Burrow’s injury history, and Jayden Daniels’ injuries and offensive weirdness going on). So, it makes sense that people who want a QB1 are just setting and forgetting Allen in that spot, but it is a poor use of resources, as any quarterback can get hurt, and the gap between QB1 and QB2 is likely to be as thin as ever. If you want an elite QB, pocket your picks for a round and a half and take Lamar Jackson, instead.
