With my player profiles, I’ve only decided to go back to look at their fantasy scoring for three years. I could show you lists from earlier, but most of the guys at the top are no longer in the league anymore. I’ve also added a chart for their usage over that time span. We will try to determine, based on those two factors, where the best wide receiver value lies.

Overview: Evans bounced back from a down season with a WR1 performance in 2018. The talented receiver’s fate depends upon the progression of quarterback Jameis Winston, whose progress is always a giant box with a question mark on it.
Strategy: Our Mike Evans Auction Value ($200 Budget): $40
What Mike Evans brings to the table that no other second-round WR does is an insanely high floor. Through the ups-and-downs of Jameis Winston’s career, he has finished no worse than middle-of-the-pack WR2 in the past three years. His top 3 performance in 2016 shows his lofty ceiling. Evans is a great addition to a fantasy team looking to have a solid, if not spectacular, weekly score.
Best Case Scenario: Winston figures it out and Evans has another top 3 year.
Worst Case Scenario: Winston is horrible and gets benched and Evans has to scrap to finish in the top 24 among WRs.
