2024 Fantasy Football Week 16 Streaming Defenses: Rudolph Won’t You Guide My Stream This Week?

If you read my article on playing the waiver wire game, you know it is essential to winning your fantasy football league.  If you haven’t read it, what are you waiting for?  I just told you it’s essential to winning your fantasy football league!  Why do you hate winning?

One of the best ways to maximize your weekly scoring is to stream defenses.  This strategy is simple – we aren’t as concerned about good defenses, so much as finding defenses that are playing terrible offenses.  Bad offenses are more likely to keep playing badly because if they knew how to be good, they would already be good.  Because of this flawless logic, I will be pointing out the best streaming options every week.

Cincinnati Bengals DEF (38% owned) @ Cleveland Browns

Last week, I told you to grab the Bengals because they were facing a Titans team that gave up the most fantasy points to opposing defenses. If you listened, you were rewarded with the DST4 of the week. If you didn’t listen, they are facing a Cleveland Browns team that is giving up the second most fantasy points to opposing defenses. They have the 4th most turnovers (thank you Jameis), the 2nd most sacks, and the 4th fewest points scored. If you stream defenses, the Bengals have to be a priority addition.

Green Bay Packers DEF (47% owned) @ New Orleans Saints

Frankly, the Green Bay Packers are a no-brainer. They are the DST5 of the season.  They have the 4th most turnovers, 7th in sacks, and 8th in points allowed.  Most importantly, the Saints are starting Jake Haener and might be without Alvin Kamara.

Indianapolis Colts DEF (17% owned) @ Tennessee Titans

My number one rule for sports betting and fantasy football is always betting on bad continuing to be bad.  The Titans are giving up the most fantasy points to opposing defenses.  The Titans have the most turnovers, the 6th most sacks, and score the 6th fewest points per game.  Will Levis got benched last week, but Mason Rudolph is not much better. On the season, Mason Rudolph has a quarterback rating of 53.4. If you can’t get the Bengals or Packers, the Colts have a very nice floor with top-ten potential this week.
