2024 Fantasy Football Week 14 Streaming Defenses: Mayo Streaming Defense Be Dreamy

If you read my article on playing the waiver wire game, you know it is essential to winning your fantasy football league.  If you haven’t read it, what are you waiting for?  I just told you it’s an essential part of winning your fantasy football league!  Why do you hate winning?

One of the best ways to maximize your weekly scoring is to stream defenses.  This strategy is simple – we aren’t as concerned about good defenses, so much as finding defenses that are playing terrible offenses.  Bad offenses are more likely to keep playing badly because if they knew how to be good, they would already be good.  Because of this flawless logic, I will be pointing out the best streaming options every week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DEF (44% owned) @ Las Vegas Raiders

The Bucs are, far and away, the best streaming defense for week fourteen. The Raiders hit my top three points when I’m looking for opponents. They are tied for the most turnovers in football, have allowed the 6th most sacks, and score the 6th fewest points per game.  If Tampa Bay is available on waivers, grab them.

Jacksonville Jaguars DEF (6% owned) @ Tennessee Titans

The Titans also hit my three favorite points when looking for defensive streamers. They give up the most turnovers in football, have allowed the 3rd most sacks, and score the 5th fewest points per game. The reason they are not my number one option is because Tampa Bay is a much better football team than Jacksonville.  My concern with this matchup is that both these teams are bad and whichever team wins is probably the defense you should have started. Which brings me to….

Tennessee Titans DEF (11% owned) @ Jacksonville Jaguars DEF

If you think the Titans are winning against the Jaguars, there is a lot to like about this matchup. The Titans have the best pass defense in football currently based on yardage. They have also given up the 2nd fewest yards per play. The Jaguars, on the other hand, have the 9th most turnovers, the 8th fewest points per game, and are probably starting Mac Jones.  When it comes to picking between the Jaguars and the Titans, just grab whichever defense you think is going to win.
