2024 Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet: Things To Do In Denver When Your Fantasy Football Team Is Dead

Week ten of the 2024 NFL season is over and chaos reigns. NFC North quarterbacks decided who could do worse while winning. Sam Darnold threw three picks and pulled out a win. Jared Goff threw five interceptions, ruining his chances for league MVP, but still pulling out a win. Caleb Williams threw zero interceptions, but couldn’t overcome being a Bears quarterback, so they lost to the worst team in football. Football is pain and suffering and that is why the waiver wire exists. To save you from the cruel and unforgiving football gods. I’m going to provide you with the best options available.  If I don’t mention someone whom you think I should be talking about, just know there are many reasons why I overlooked them. Maybe they are owned in most leagues. Perhaps they are so bad I don’t even consider them.  Maybe it’s because your opinions cannot be trusted. After all, you are here. So let us examine our best week eleven waiver wire players for your championship run…

Week Eleven Waiver Wire Quarterbacks
Bo Nix, Denver Broncos (43% rostered)

I have been trying to avoid this for weeks, but I am invoking the Blake Bortles rule. For those who don’t know, the Blake Bortles rule is that you do not have to be good at football to be good at fantasy football. For two years, Blake Bortles was a QB1 in fantasy football. At this point, Bo Nix has to be rostered if you need quarterback help. In week 10, Bo Nix had 215 yards and 2 touchdowns and finished as the QB12. In four of the last six weeks, Bo Nix has finished as a QB1. It isn’t pretty, but if you are combing the waiver wire for quarterback help, neither is your roster.

Week Eleven Waiver Wire Running Backs
Trey Benson, Arizona Cardinals (20% rostered)

Over the last two weeks, James Conner has seen a significantly reduced snap share and Trey Benson has seen an increased usage. This makes Trey Benson a very appealing option if you need help at running back. His 87 all-purpose yards in week ten don’t hurt either. With Arizona’s offense starting to make some noise and his increased role, Benson is a nice option if you need RB help. If James Conner gets hurt, which history says he likely will, Trey Benson could be a league winner.

Audric Estime, Denver Broncos (4% rostered)

In week ten, Audric Estime had 61% of the team’s rushing snaps.  He also had 54 yards on 14 carries. While I think the real lesson here is to fade Denver running backs, they are turning to the rookie because nothing else is working. If you need running back help, this is a scratch-off lottery ticket that you are hoping returns you enough money to buy another lottery ticket.

Week Eleven Waiver Wire Wide Receivers
Adonai Mitchell, Indianapolis Colts (10% rostered)

Adonai Mitchell led the Colts in routes run for the first time this season and boy did he deliver. Well, he would have delivered if Joe Flacco had been capable of delivering. Even still, 6 catches for 71 yards was not a bad start this week. I don’t know if Mitchell will continue to see an increased role, but his high draft capital and elite separation rate make him a high-upside flier.

Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants (52% rostered)

Wan’Dale Robinson is boring, but he is also the WR33 on the season. In week ten, he had 5 catches for 51 yards. Wan’Dale Robinson is a boring pick-up, but he is the kind of boring you love to have on the back of your bench in case of an emergency.

Week Eleven Waiver Wire Tight Ends
Will Dissly, Los Angeles Chargers (2% rostered)

I am only bringing up Will Dissly because someone, somewhere needs a tight end. Frankly, most of us need one. And Will Dissly is playing a Bengals team that is giving up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. In week ten, Dissly was fifth on the Chargers in routes run and led the team in targets per routes run. This is purely a match-up play. Don’t waste a waiver on him. Nobody is burning a waiver on Will Dissly. But if you need a tight end in week 11, grab Will Dissly.
