2019 Final Start or Sit Scoreboard
It’s finally time to wrap this all up. My fantasy football social experiment came to an end months ago, and I’m ready to reveal by just how much Erin kicked my butt in Start or Sit picks last year. SPOILER ALERT: I showed up big in Week 16. SPOILER ALERT 2: It didn’t help much. Let’s get into it.
Scoring System: 1 point for good advice, 0 points for neutral advice, -1 point for bad advice (Deciding if the outcome is good, neutral, or bad is 100% subjective and non-negotiable)

Yeah, that’s right. Through 16 weeks of predictions, using a scoring system I invented, I broke exactly even. On the other hand, Erin, who watched a grand total of about 22 minutes of football, finished +10! To put this into layman’s terms, she made 10 more good calls this season than bad/neutral calls. In other words, she was clearly better than me. Where does that leave us? I’m actually pretty proud of breaking even. I went out of my way each week to target borderline projected starters, and I made calculated adjustments when the numbers didn’t tell the whole story. Obviously, this system didn’t work nearly as well as Erin’s knee jerk reactions. I’ll be putting some serious thought into how to make this ride more helpful and entertaining for all in 2020.
Thanks so much for following along in 2019! See you soon!
