One of the best ways to maximize your weekly scoring is to stream defenses. This strategy is simple – we aren’t as concerned about good defenses, so much as finding defenses that are playing terrible offenses. Bad offenses are more likely to keep playing bad because if they knew how to be good, they would already be good. Because of this flawless logic, I will be pointing out the best streaming options on a weekly basis.
Week 13 Defense
Week 13 Defense Recommendation: Kansas City DEF (43% owned)
This year, Kansas City has been known for their offense. But over the last few weeks, their defense has been coming on strong. Over their last four games, the Chiefs have been a top-five fantasy defense. And in week 13, they get to face an Oakland Raiders team that is giving up the 7th most fantasy points to opposing defenses. This game will likely be a bloodbath for the Oakland Raiders defense, and I expect the Raiders to make some terrible offensive decisions as they try to keep up. This is my favorite streaming match-up of the week.
Week 13 Defense Recommendation: Denver DEF (46% owned)
A close 2nd when it comes for options in picking a week thirteen defense is the Denver Broncos. On the surface, it might not seem like a favorable match-up. The Bengals have given up the 14th fewest points to opposing defenses. It is unlikely that AJ Green will be back for week thirteen, and Andy Dalton is on Injured Reserve. If you believe Jeff Driskel is going to fix the Bengals numerous problems, you probably never would have found this website and looked for solid advice. Your alcoholism would be getting in the way. What I’m saying is start Denver’s defense.
Week 13 Defense Recommendation: Miami DEF (11% owned)
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. Always start the defense that is playing against the Buffalo Bills. The Buffalo Bills have given up the most fantasy points to opposing defenses and we all know Josh Allen is a trash quarterback. The Miami Dolphins have been a top ten fantasy defense, so this start is a no-brainer if you are looking for streaming options for a week thirteen defense.
