Week fourteen of the 2025 NFL season is over, and I don’t even know how to project players anymore. Tony Pollard finishing as RB2? Shedeur Sanders finishing as QB2, J.J. McCarthy finishing a pass. I’ll provide you with the best options available on the wire. If I don’t mention someone you think I should be talking about, please know that there are many reasons why I may have overlooked them. Maybe they are owned in most leagues. Maybe they are so bad that I don’t even consider them. Perhaps it’s because your opinions are not trustworthy. After all, you are here. So, let us examine the top week five waiver wire players for your championship run…
Week Fifteen Waiver Wire Quarterbacks
Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals (38% rostered)
For the first time this season, Jacoby Brissett has not finished as a top-ten QB. He still scored 20 points. If you need a quarterback and he is still on your waiver wire, know that I hate you.
Week Fifteen Waiver Wire Running Backs
Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams (35% rostered)
In week fourteen, Blake Corum was RB3 on the week with 128 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Over the last two weeks, Corum has had 33% of the Rams’ rushing attempts. That means Corum needs to be the one waiver addition for week fifteen.
Jaylen Wright, Miami Dolphins (3% rostered)
While De’Von Achane left, Jaylen Wright, not Ollie Gordon, dominated the snap count and t m shares. After the first quarter, Wright had 67% of the team’s snaps and 69% of the team’s rushing attempts. Most importantly, he finished with 107 rushing yards and one touchdown. While Achane appears to be healthy, I am grabbing him as insurance if I have a spot.
Week Fifteen Waiver Wire Wide Receivers
Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers (50% rostered)
It amazes me that I am still talking about Christian Watson. I will just say that Watson had four catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns. If you don’t have him yet, why are we even talking?
Luther Burden, Chicago Bears (23% rostered)
With Rome Odunze having a stress fracture in his foot and looking to miss multiple weeks, Luther Burden is one of the most important additions at wide receiver for your fantasy roster. In week fourteen, Burden had four catches and 70 all-purpose yards. More importantly, Burden led the team in targets, targets per route run, and yards per route run. Get Luther Burden.
Jayden Higgins, Houston Texans (43% rostered)
While Jayden Higgins didn’t have the most exciting week fourteen performance, his usage has been ramping up. This past week, Higgins was third on the team in routes run, second in targets, first in targets per routes run, and second in yards per routes run. Higgins profiles as the type of rookie who breaks out during the stretch, and I want shares of him wherever I can get them.
Week Fifteen Waiver Wire Tight Ends
Harold Fannin Jr, Cleveland Browns (53% rostered)
While Harold Fannin is slightly over the 50% roster threshold I look for, if he is available, you need to grab him. Not only did he finish as the TE1 this week, but since week 10, Fannin is third among tight ends in targets, fifth in receptions, fourth in yards, and fifth in touchdowns. Also during that time, Fannin is second on his team in routes run, first in targets, second in yards per route run, and first in targets per route run. Harold Fannin has all the makings of a league winner.
