2025 Fantasy Football Week 13 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet: Where’s the Loveland?

waiver wire

Week twelve of the 2025 NFL season, and the football gods are vengeful! Baker hurt his shoulder and was unable to return. Tee Higgins left his game with a concussion. Alvin Kamara hurt his knee. With everyone out, you need to figure out who will be IN your lineup. I’ll provide you with the best options available on the wire. If I don’t mention someone you think I should be talking about, please know that there are many reasons why I may have overlooked them. Maybe they are owned in most leagues. Maybe they are so bad that I don’t even consider them. Perhaps it’s because your opinions are not trustworthy. After all, you are here. So, let us examine the top week five waiver wire players for your championship run…

Week Thirteen Waiver Wire QBs
Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals (36% rostered)

There is only one quarterback this season who has finished every game as a QB1, and his name is Jacoby Brissett. If you need quarterback help, grab him. Honestly, even if you don’t need him, grab him so nobody else can beat you with him.

Week Thirteen Waiver Wire RBs
Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs (52% rostered)

The fact that Kareem Hunt is only rostered in 52% of leagues is wild.  In his last four games, Kareem Hunt would rank as the RB15 in half PPR. While he isn’t getting it done on the ground, Hunt has established himself as the goal-line back for the Kansas City Chiefs.  If Kareem Hunt is on your waiver wire, grab him.

Devin Neal, New Orleans Saints (5% rostered)

Alvin Kamara suffered a knee injury in week 12 and is expected to miss some time. This means Devin Neal is a starting running back in the NFL. This means he needs to be rostered immediately.

Dylan Sampson, Cleveland Browns (10% rostered)

In week twelve, Quinshon Judkins got hurt, and Dylan Sampson had extended usage to the tune of 82 all-purpose yards and 1 touchdown. Follow the news on Judkins. If he is going to miss extended time, you want Sampson. If Judkins plays on Sunday, Sampson is worthless for fantasy football.

Week Thirteen Waiver Wire WRs
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars (21% rostered)

Over the last month of the season, Parker Washington has been the WR1 for the Jacksonville Jaguars. In week twelve, Washington had 5 catches for 71 yards and 1 touchdown.  Over his last four weeks, Parker Washington is averaging 12 ppg in half PPR.  That is worth rostering.

Chimere Dike, Tennessee Titans (16% rostered)

The theme for the week twelve waiver wire is to grab the WR1 for teams. The top of that list has to be Chimere Dike. This week, Dike had 5 catches for 44 yards and 1 touchdown. The rookie receiver has shown flashes, and with injuries to the other receivers on the Titans, Dike should see more opportunities. He won’t be a WR1, but he could provide an emergency flex start if you are desperate.

John Metchie III, New York Jets (1% rostered)

Two weeks in a row, John Metchie III has finished as a top twenty receiver. In week 12, Metchie had 6 catches for 65 yards and 1 touchdown. Over the last four weeks, Metchie has been leading the Jets in routes run, is 2nd in targets, and is 2nd in yards per routes run. With no Garrett Wilson, the Jets have to throw to someone and that someone is John Metchie III.

Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers (34% rostered)

Last week, I pointed out that over the last two weeks, Watson led the Packers in routes run and yards per routes run. This week, Watson led the Packers with 5 catches for 49 yards. Christian Watson appears to be the WR1 on the Packers and has enough big-play upside where he should be rostered.

Luther Burden, Chicago Bears (13% rostered)

Once again, we have seen an increase in usage for Luther Burden. In week 12, he was top three in yards per routes run, targets per routes run, and routes run!  If you are looking for a stash at wide receiver with breakout potential, Burden is a great upside investment.

Jayden Higgins, Houston Texans (23% rostered)

If Luther Burden worries you because of how many weapons the Chicago Bears offense has, Jayden Higgins is a rookie wide receiver who has been flashing lately and does not have a lot of talent surrounding him. In week twelve, Higgins had 4 catches for 38 yards and 1 touchdown. Houston might not have the offensive firepower Chicago had, but over the last three weeks, Jayden Higgins is 3rd on the team in routes run, 2nd in yards per route run, and 1st in targets per routes run.

Week Thirteen Waiver Wire TEs
Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears (45% rostered)

For some unknown reason, Colston Loveland’s rostership rates have gone down from last week. That is wild because Loveland finished as the TE2 in week twelve with 4 catches for 49 yards and 1 touchdown.  More importantly, over the last four weeks, Colston Loveland is TE5 in points per game. If you hate winning, go ahead and let someone else grab Colston Loveland. Otherwise, you know what to do.
