2025 Fantasy Football Overvalued, Undervalued & Sleeper: New York Giants

New York Giants Streaming Defenses

The New York Football Giants fell apart last season, eventually jettisoning their quarterback Daniel Jones to turn to… Drew Lock? They now have far too many quarterbacks, with Jameis Winston, Russell Wilson & Jaxson Dart joining the team (and Tommy Cutlets) in the quarterback room. They’re a team with a lot of questions, but questions can provide some fantasy football value if you answer them correctly. So, let’s figure out who is underdrafted, overdrafted, and who is a sleeper for the 2025 Giants!

Underdrafted:
Wan’Dale Robinson, Wide Receiver (WR67, Pick 167 Overall)
My Rank: WR49

Twelve wide receivers had 6+ games of double-digit targets in 2024. Malik Nabers led the way with 10, Ja’Marr Chase had 9, Davante Adams, CeeDee Lamb & Drake London had 8, and the following players had six games of double-digit targets: Tee Higgins, Jerry Jeudy, Jakobi Meyers, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Garrett Wilson, Brian Thomas, and… Wan’Dale Robinson.

Wan’Daddy finished 2025 with 140 targets, 93 receptions, and 699 yards. The receptions and targets are the good part here, and the receiving yards are the hilarious part. He’s taking the Jarvis Landry role to new heights as the underneath dump-off guy. But, because we play a silly game where a catch is worth as much as ten yards, I am more concerned with the catches than the yardage.

Robinson finished 2025 as WR36, and we are pushing him down the ranks to the WR5 tier. I’ll soak that up in managed leagues, as he is discount Jakobi Meyers; the quarterbacks can’t be worse than last year, and the receivers didn’t get any better, so it’s all gravy for Wan’Dale Robinson in 2025 PPR leagues.

Overdrafted:
Tyrone Tracy, Running Back (RB32, Pick 92 Overall)
My Rank: WR37

Tyrone Tracy was a fun story last season, as he came on halfway through the year and finished with six top-24 finishes in the second half of the season. He took advantage of a Devin Singletary injury, and (sort of) didn’t look back. When Singletary returned, Tracy was the lead back, but his touches vacillated wildly between bellcow (19+ touches in 3 games in the second half) and part-timer (11 touches in 3 games in the second half).

The “Tyrone Tracy Role” grew out of being better than an injured Devin Singletary, and that’s what worries me. The fifth-round pick in 2024 now has a healthy Devin Singletary, as well as a 2025 draftee with higher capital (Cam Skattebo, a fourth-rounder this season) to contend with. Tracy is a fun story, but he isn’t exactly someone who has the juice to hold off two guys.

I believe that Tracy will be given the first opportunity to secure the job and will be afforded every chance to succeed. Unfortunately, Tracy was… just okay last year, ranking outside the top-20 in yards per touch, yards created per touch, explosive rating, and juke rate.

The likeliest outcome to me is the three running backs sharing a nasty Cerberus in the backfield, and none of them end up fantasy relevant. If I put my chips down anywhere, though, it would be Cam Skattebo, who is going seven picks later than Tracy in 4For4.com’s ADP data.

Sleeper:
Jaxson Dart, Quarterback (QB31, Pick 228 Overall)
My Rank: QB31

I am not super bullish on Jaxson Dart. He feels a lot like Drew Lock to me; a boom-bust quarterback with a big arm and enough legs to make it all work as a fantasy football asset. He is highly volatile, as some games made me wonder if he was QB1 in the class, and others made me wonder if Jaxson Dart is from the same area of the galaxy as Ford Prefect, and that he had never heard of football before. But, he has the draft capital to force the issue should he start on the bench, and “starting on the bench” explains his price.

His price is influenced by a quarterback battle among him, Jameis, and Russell Wilson. I ultimately think that Wilson wins that battle, but I also believe that Dart will get at least 8 starts this season and likely perform in the mid-range QB2, which makes him a valuable asset down the line (think how Drake Maye did it, though Maye had a higher floor).

I’m not advocating drafting Dart in 1QB leagues, but he is a great lottery ticket in 2QB leagues, where he can sit on your bench while he awaits his opportunity.
