Start or Sit Matt Moore, Brandon Allen, or Ryan Fitzpatrick Week 9

We’re changing up the scoring to better benefit your leagues! Check it out:

Matt Moore, Brandon Allen, and Ryan Fitzpatrick will all finish outside the top 12. In a 1 QB league, they are a definite sit. Got it? Get over it. But if you’re looking for a top 24 QB, for a two-QB league, these guys might be available on your waiver wire. So this week I’ll be going against Yahoo! in predicting whether Matt Moore, Brandon Allen, or Ryan Fitzpatrick will finish in the top 24 among QBs.

Week 8 score: Yahoo 5-1, Me 2-4

Overall Season score: Yahoo 19-17, Me 23-13

Start or Sit Matt Moore, Brandon Allen, or Ryan Fitzpatrick Week 9
Start or Sit Matt Moore Week 9

Average Weekly Score for the 24th-Ranked QB in 2019: 16.56

Moore proved surprisingly good in fantasy, trading touchdowns with Aaron Rodgers to the tune of 23 fantasy points in week 8. Week 9 sees the Kansas City Chiefs face a stout Minnesota defense. The Vikings average 0.1 more points per game allowed to QBs than the Packers. That’s enough for me to decide to start Matt Moore week 9 (in two QB leagues).

Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football predicts Moore will finish 19th among quarterbacks, so they say start Matt Moore in week 9 (in two QB leagues).

Start or Sit Brandon Allen Week 9

Average Weekly Score for the 24h-Ranked QB in 2019: 16.56

With Joe Flacco potentially out for season, Brandon Allen will lead the Denver Broncos offense week 9. They face the Cleveland Browns, who are allowing 22.9 points per game to opposing quarterbacks (13th highest in the NFL). But who is Brancon Allen? He was drafted in the sixth round by the Jags in 2016, but hasn’t thrown a pass in the NFL. That makes me nervous so I’m definitely going to sit Brandon Allen week 9 (in two QB leagues).

Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football  predicts Finley to finish 29th among QBs, which is a strong vote to sit Brandon Allen in week 9.

Start or Sit Ryan Fitzpatrick Week 9

Average Weekly Score for the 18th-Ranked QB in 2019: 16.56

Fitzpatrick looked alright for one half against the Steelers, throwing two touchdowns. Still, that only got him 14.30 fantasy points. He faces a similarly middle-of-the-road Jets defense week 9. I can do better in 2 QB leagues, so I’m going to sit Ryan Fitzpatrick week 9 (in 2 QB leagues).

Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football says Fitzpatrick will finish 23rd among QBs, so they want to start Ryan Fitzpatrick week 9 (in 2 QB leagues).

Matt Moore, Brandon Allen, and Ryan Fitzpatrick ranked for week 9:

Evan Hoovler (that’s me): Moore > Fitzpatrick > Allen

Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football: Moore > Fitzpatrick > Allen
