Should I Start Sony Michel or Marlon Mack Week 2?

Should I Start Sony Michel or Marlon Mack Week 2

This year, I’ve decided to share my wife’s fantasy football “insight” with the world. We will be looking at some sticky fantasy football lineup decisions each week, and each of us will pick the player that we think should be started. I will use mostly statistical analysis, with just a touch of gut feeling. Erin will use whatever thing she uses to tell you what name speaks to her. Without further ado, let’s get into it:

Sony Michel or Marlon Mack Week 2

It was not Sony Michel, but Rex Burkhead who led the Patriots in rushing in Week 1, because of course it was. Sony led the team in carries, but only managed 15 yards on 14 carries. In technical terms, he did poopy. Marlon Mack, on the other hand, was the 4th best RB in standard leagues, rushing for 174 yards on 25 carries. Can we count on Michel to have a better outing against the hapless Dolphins? Will Mack, and the rest of the Colts, continue their North American tour to prove their offense doesn’t need any Luck?

Bryan’s Pick: Sony Michel will bounce back. I expect Michel to get at least as much work as he did in Week 1, but with much more room to run. Mack faces a taller task on the road against a tough Titans D that held Nick Chubb to 75 rushing yards.

Erin’s Pick: I will take Sony Michel too.  I like that his last name sounds like a lady’s name. Is he French? I feel like I need to say his name with a heavy French accent. (Note from Bryan: what is it with her and French guys?)

Check back as we keep score on who made the best call for Sony Michel or Marlon Mack week 2, and two other fantasy football choices each week..
