Fantasy Football: Week Eleven Waiver Wire Quarterback aka Where Bortles Sounds Like Hope

The waiver wire quarterback pool for week eleven is just terrible.  I don’t know how to say it any stronger.  Every quarterback that is available is just terrible.  The quarterback waiver wire is so bad that Blake Bortles looks good by comparison.  Let that sink in for a second.  So let us examine what our best waiver wire quarterback options for week eleven are.

Case Keenum  – Owned in 18% of leagues – This week, Case Keenum threw for 304 yards, 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.  It was, by far, his best game of the season.  If this somehow convinces you to start him, you deserve to lose your week eleven matchup.  He had a very favorable matchup last week, but he has no more advantageous matchups against defenses this season.  Don’t burn your waiver on Case Keenum.

Blake BortlesOwned in 32% of leagues –  So Blake Bortles is an interesting waiver wire quarterback.  This past week, he threw for 273 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.  If you are considering him, you are desperate.  However, he also probably has the best schedule the rest of the season for quarterbacks still available on the waiver wire.  He should produce consistent points.  I’d avoid burning your waiver on him and waiting for your free agency position if you think he’ll make it there.  If you are unsure, grab him.  Otherwise you could be stuck with….

DeShone KizerOwned in 3% of leagues – Owned in 3% of leagues, that number still feels too high.  This week, Kizer had his best week of the season.  Do you know how he did it?  He threw for a touchdown.  For most quarterbacks, one thrown touchdown would be their floor, not their ceiling.  But not for DeShone Kizer.  What I am saying is, for the love of all that is holy, do not burn your waiver position on any Cleveland Browns quarterback.  But especially, don’t burn it on DeShone Kizer.
